EPIC, Executives Partnering to Invest in Children, is a Colorado organization with some free tools to help the self-starters out there get going on this workplace parity quest. Check out their Family-Friendly Workplace Assessment. It's a free way to get your organization started on a path toward workplace parity. Once you've started to understand where you stand, take advantage of the Family-Friendly Workplace Toolkit, offered through a partnership between EPIC and the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment, to fill any gaps you've discovered. If you need support from other organizations doing this work, they have 4 regional networks in Colorado of business people undertaking this same task.
Once you tackle family-friendliness you will have some good skills to put to work on greater thought diversity at your organization. Ready to get started?
